Does Brandlint modify my code?
No. It only reads your PR and provides suggestions. You decide what to change.
What if I disagree with a suggestion?
Ignore it. Suggestions are recommendations, not requirements.
Can I run Brandlint on existing code?
Not yet. Currently it only runs on pull requests. Full codebase scanning is on the roadmap.
How do I exclude generated files?
Add patterns to brandlint.yml:

What languages are supported?
English only. Multi-language support is planned.
Why did my PR fail?
Your score fell below the threshold. To fix:
- Review suggestions and update your copy
- Lower the threshold in
brandlint.yml - Exclude files that shouldn't be reviewed
Can I use Brandlint with a monorepo?
Yes. Place brandlint.yml at the repository root. Use ignore patterns to exclude packages that don't need review.
How do I customize my guidelines?
Voice templates are available on all plans. Custom guidelines require Pro or Team.
Is my code secure?
We only read PR diffs during review. We don't store your code or share data with third parties.
How do I cancel?
Go to brandlint.com/billing and click Cancel subscription.
